this place is so college-dirty, i knew the food would be good. it's post-bar on a Friday, the night before the MSU/UM football game. i was in town as an alum (sigh, i suck that i live in the real world now) and my boyf and i were hungry as hell, so we stopped into menna's, right next to haaaahpah's. we walk into a frat party kitchen, i mean what the restaurant looks like at 2:30am. there were wrappers everywhere, food left in booths, drunk asses chillin or sleeping in booths, and millions of people in line...just trying to stay sober enough to order. we checked out the menu...well we had time, the line took about 45 minutes! but that's our fault, it's prime food time in E.L. and everyone is now obsessed with menna's. my senior year in '04 is when menna's first opened on hagadorn(now they're on Ann in a prime spot for post-bar traffic). no one really knew about them, my friend ordered from them once...but i never heard anyone rave about them like these people in line...who were like crack addicts waiting for their next fix. damn guys, chill out! ok..so the food - IT WAS .... AWESOME! i loved my dub - chicken, cheese, potatoes, dressing...oh i never wanted it to end. the fries (really like hashbrown potatoes) were so bomb! sadly, we never made it back to menna's that weekend, but we wanted to come back for a breakfast dub on sunday...but like a true stoner..they didn't open until like after 11 or something.

Menna's has really good grilled tortilla sandwiches, but at $6 a pop it would be nice to get some chips and a drink with it too. I like more vegetables on my sandwiches than most places usually offer, and they do that charge you 30 cents-for-each-extra-thing deal, which is understandable for meats, but for extra green pepper and onion? c'mon guys....

Menna's was not good. I asked to get water and the water was pink so i got lemonade and they yelled at me. I got a mediocre dubbie and it def. was not worth it. I suggest you take ur money elsewhere because this place was trashy, dirty and gross. Though, it is a stoner's paradise and i def. dont smoke all the time. Fuck menna's, pay me.

Menna's Joint is badass. Their "dubs" are basically American burritos... cheap and tasty. Also, they'll sell you 3 cookies for $1, which is totally awesome. I recommend the Master Dub or the Loaded Dub. You don't need to be wasted to enjoy Menna's... Its great all the time.

Ordered online. It was quick n easy. Delivery time was estimated at 45 minutes which was pretty standard but didn't get my new for over and hour. They made good on it though by calling and brining me free cookies. I've always had great food and great service from Mennas!

I am really going to miss this place when my sister graduates in a few weeks. I've been visiting her at MSU probably 3 times a year for the past 4 years. It's safe to say that for 10 of my 12 visits, we've either ordered delivery from Menna's or gone over there to eat. I always get the buffalo chicken dub and it is always hot and delicious. There have been a few times where I've woken up in the morning, waited for them to open, and ordered "breakfast" because my dinner there the night before was so good. Is there anything I can say to convince Menna's Joint to open a branch in the Chicagoland area?

I think it was the worst thing I have ever ate in Lansing. I had some sort of burrito concoction with a ton of potatoes, sour cream and cheese. I couldn't finish it.

The first time was after a long night of drinking and coming from Rick's. I do remember ordering the food and eating it, however, I didn't not remember how it tasted the next day. I do remember enjoying it at least. I was told that I preferred the Pizza Dub over the Master Dub. Later that week, I went there for lunch/late breakfast and ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Dub. Being sober, I finally got to enjoy the taste of a dub. It's a fine heart attack wrapped and grilled. I did also get to try the Master Dub again with my actual senses and it was a lot better than the Philly Dub. And also I've noticed that their secret is in the qualith of their wrap. After putting it on heat, it creates a thin crust that really makes a dub truly a "dub." For $6.25, I would love having a dub after a long night of drinking. I'm not sure if there would be anything else I'd want.

I had to stop at this Mennas before my trip out of EL. It was not a wasted trip. My CT dub was as delicious as I remember it from my college days - although the dubs have shrunk a bit and their new menu confuses me.

Oh how I miss Menna's... not the cheapest place to grab a bite, as fries & such cost extra, but the "dub" (huge burrito-esque sandwich) is plenty big enough to satisfy my appetite. I love going here on game days -- portable food so you can chow down and wander the tailgate scene simultaneously. My fav order: the Loaded Dub (bacon, cheddar, mozzarella, potato, ranch, and sour cream) -- deeeelish.

Slow service. I was the only one in the place on a Sunday afternoon (9/1/2013). There were four employees wandering around but it took them a few minutes to take my order. Then I watched a guy cook a sandwich for 6 or 7 minutes which I thought was mine. But Nope. The guy put the sandwich in a bag and walked out. I don't know if the guy was making a delivery or just going home to eat it himself. I suspect eat it himself (and ignore customers) because why would the cook also make deliveries? Finally, after he left, only then did another guy start cooking my sandwich. 6 or 7 minutes later I finally had it in my hands. If I wanted to wait 15 minutes and get ignored I would have gone to a sit down joint - not this place.

I always drive out of my way when passing anywhere close to EL to grab a dub. Tons of variety to find one you like. They are big and by no means very healthy, but perfect for that late night craving.

Menna's is just what I {think} I want after an evening of debauchery in East Lansing. But, it's usually a mistake for a plethora of reasons. I'm not usually this crass, but I feel the warning is necessary. Basically, if you want to spend a good portion of the following morning in the bathroom, in pain, then you should eat here. You'd think i would live and learn but I found myself in said predicament AGAIN this morning. Don't do it!

I really like Menna's. Their dubs, which is a grilled wrap are very good. I get the Buffalo dub whenever I order and it is always great. This used to be my favorite place to get a wrap in East Lansing. That designation now goes to Conrad's. Conrad's wraps are much better and much fuller. That being said, Menna's is till a very good restaurant that anyone living or visiting East Lansing should consider visiting. I would recommend getting delivery or just pick it up. The seating is nothing special, just a few tables and chairs. Its much better to enjoy your dub at home with your friends reminiscing about the night you just had. Menna's is one of the best foods to solve your drunken munchies. If you can't make it to Conrad's I would get Menna's, a close second for my best wrap (dub) in EL.

I miss Menna's. This is the original location, and I wish I would have taken advantage of Menna's a lot more while I lived in Hubbard Hall! There's nothing like a CT (chicken tenders) dub with honey mustard! The MJ Special is also quite delish. The dubs are cheap, fast, and warm. Snatch up a dub on the way home from the bar and it will make your walk home much more enjoyable (although, the other location on Albert Street is probably better for that).

Yummy! The dubs are so good! They're like an entire meal wrapped in flatbread! I had a chicken parm dub and my boyfriend had the master dub, both were amazing!

Eh, as someone put "this place is so college-dirty". Then they said "I knew the food would be good" - I don't agree with that addition. Unimpressed by everything about Menna's, especially after hearing so much talk about it.

This is one of the only reasons I come to east Lansing. SO good. Loaded dub is awesome.

I'm not sure if it was the intense workout I'd had beforehand or the blistering heat that day, but I became extremely nauseous immediately after finishing my sandwich. I haven't been back since because even the mention of the place gets my stomach churning. I'm giving two stars because I don't think the food was poison, no one was overtly rude to me, and the price was average-ish. Still, if I'm in Hannah plaza and I want a sandwich, I'll be heading to Jimmy John's next door

luckily the motto is "Home of the Dub," and not clear reception. I ordered it a few days ago, and very specifically asked NO SOUR CREAM... and what did I get on my dub? you guessed it. The delivery guy Josh was awesome and super friendly.. so props to him. The girl who took the order on the phone must have just smoked a fatty since she couldn't get anything right. The food is worth it and will leave you feeling full, just make sure you clarify your order again and again.. and again and again.
